head gasket sealant

I've got two different TR-6 head gaskets here. One is a 'Payen' gasket which 
appears to have a modern teflon coating.
The other is a OE style gasket from TRF. Do I need to use gasket sealant on the 
Payen gasket or will the coating suffice?
