Hello listers,
I can t contribute anything about the last Spitfires but I have some documents
about the first TR 6.
Some time ago I contacted the Karmann company in Osnabruck / Germany and asked
for information about their involvement in Triumph´s TR 6. I wrote that I
need it for an article in the magazin of my local Triumph club.
There was some response and listers who have not acces to "TRIUMPH MAGAZIN
fruehjahr 99" can get photos of the prototyp, of the making of the prototyp and
a design drawing as jpg files. Just give me an E-Mail.
Probably some listers will wonder about authenticy and all I can say is that
the
images came from the office of Mr. Wilhelm Karmann jr. who died in the meantime
at the age of 83.
BTW did anyone know that Karmann did the facelift of the Triumph 2000 ?
