Apparently I need to get out more and talk to people! Hope it looks as good
as I am imagining.

Listers, we have all heard it, but have never had it happen to us. Today
driving into the shopping center parking lot, a elderly gent approached
me and asked about my "3", we talked for a few minutes and he then
informed me he had a 1959 T/R 3-A with a non-working O/D unit, and he
had no idea how to repair it, we talked some more, and he was starting
to repair the O/D when his wife told him we have no money for those
repairs as I am expecting our first child so the car has to wait. He
pushed it to the back of his garage and let it sit due to his
money/child problems, this occurred in 1961 and the car still sits in
his garage, I have a date with him next Tuesday to go for a look see, he
is very interested in getting it a new home, it has never been out of
the garage since then and he has raised 5 children. He is not interested
in a rebuild or parting-out, just "want the damn thing to go away".
Could this be the lost city of gold coming to my front door, or just a
bucket of rust, I'll let you all know Tues. No Carl the O/D is attached
to the car.
