Aaaaah, the Moprod discussion again. IMHO, and Just My "HO" this Moprod
problem has been around for at least 10 years. Mini parts from that era had
defects like "brake lines too short", "CV boots failing in one season",
"faulty wheel cylinders (yikes)" etc. At the time, I WAS SELLING THE STUFF
(doule yikes) as the manager of our LBC shop. Nobody I know carries the
stuff anymore, I stradfastly refuse to use it. I STILL have a set of
steering rack gaters for a TR4a that I bought in 1987, but only so the
vehicle inspection people could "see the bill" (remember when safety laws
were THAT EASY? )

Maybe, in times, these reports will fade away. Now it's just things like
top hat bushings for TR4-6 that need 1-2 hours of careful hand fitting
before they'll fit either over the shaft or in the 2nd gear!!!! (source,
TRF, mfg sticker, TAIWAN!) At least they can be MADE to fit.
