OK...now I'm ready to mount my new heater valve in the used
"Y" piece I just got (my cars whole heater set up was gone).
Do I need to bottom out the threads wneh I'm screwing the valve
in (I assume not), or just get it tight. Also, do I do this
bare back (the threads that is) or use some kinda permatex,
teflon tape, etc. I've never done any uniting of threaded stuff
that carries hot water...at least not in a car!
