We got the overdrive off john's transmission and are rebuilding the latter.
What can be done for the overdrive?
They haynes manual that john doesn't seem to describe this overdrive at all.
The manual appears to cover a different type of overdrive.
There were no springs between the overdrive and the gearbox.
The symptoms are that the overdrive doesn't work. If you attach the solinoid
to a battery then there is a click and some sparks.
What can be done for it?
Are there any servicable parts?
