No, It's basically a hydro/mechanical switch in the dual braking circuit,
that tells you if you have a loss of hydraulic pressure in either the front
or rear hydraulic system.  It has nothing to do with distribution of
pressure in the braking circuits - Don't feel bad though, many people
assume that it's a system pressure differential valve of some sort because
both sets of lines go into, then out of the body of the unit-
