I do NOTwant to remove the frame to replace this crappy looking thing, but I
do want to derust that area and make it look decent. I figure I can cut it
away, and remove the surface rust, paint, and then reseal with silicone. The
next part would be to glue something over that area that closely resembles
the original.
Does this method sound feasible to ya'll? Any ideas as to what to use for
the last step? Any of you ever do anything close to this?
