When I received the latest flyer from TRF concerning their sale, it was
clear that it was to thank customers who had spent a specific amount of
money over the last few years. It was clearly syated that it was not a sale
for everyone, but a way to thank those who have bought at a specific level.
The number of complaints about how much off parts were seemed to grow, but
no one mentioned it is a limited sale. I have been buying from TRF since my
first TR6 in 1974, and have had no major problems.
There seems to be a need to bash TRF and say how great the others are
becasue they may save you a few dollars. The last thing I bought from VB
will be my last. It was a front bumper for my 76 TR6. Three edays after
ordering it, I received a sale flyer with the price reduced by about $50.00.
A call to VB said I could not get the sale price since it has all ready been
ordred, but I could return the first and buy another. BTW, I would get to
pay the shipping for both the return and the shipping to me. Customer
service is not something that VB seems to care about.
