TR 6 cylinder heads and gaskets

Hello listers,

I want to screw an early 1969 "CC" cylinder head on a 1972 "CC" motor block 
which alreay has the recessed cylinder bores. It seems to fit perfectly.

What I found out until now is that there are different cylinder head gaskets. I 
already have a head gasket but I m not sure for which kind of motor block it 
is. 
What exactly is the difference.

Is there anything else to consider besides the gasket ?
