Your wheel must be adjusted all the way in. I think you have about 4
inches of travel in the column. You can loosen the column, and the shaft and
slide the whole thing back. Might be a better driving positition too. Also
having the wheel that far forward will negate the colapseable steering
column.
On your earlier post about the steering wheel. Your description
sounds like you have an original wheel
Also I have pictures of the the gt6 but they are all digital. Ok to
send you an attachment?
