egr valve

I have a 76 tr6 with a bolt where the egr valve should be . Engine consumes
oil and carb that hose should be connected to runs lean ( i.e white plugs)
and I can't syncronize the carbs. My supplier tells me egr valve is no
longer available.
1- anyone know source for egr.
2- is missing egr cause of above problems( compression is good wet or dry)
