Well I'm almost down to bare bones now. Removed engine and Gearbox last
weekend, and getting ready to prep the body / inner fenders for welding.
Here's my problem. The outer *FRONT* fenders are in pretty bad shape. The
mounting channel needs to be repaired over most of it's length, and the
bottom edge has rotted out where it bolts to something! The only reason I
know the bottom attaches to something is because I can see the bolts on
pictures in Piggots book.
The mounting part (whatever it is) on the body has also rotted out on both
sides so I have no way to figure out how to rebuild these things. I was
planning on sending them out for repair. Any suggestions - I would be open
to purchasing some if the price was right? If not then I will have to find
out what shape the bottom edge is supposed to look like... Joe Alexander -
