Hi, everybody. Thanks to all that communicated with me about the
blackout behind the grille (upper valance) on TR250s. Consensus seems to
be that they were blacked out. Two new questions; As I was removing the
paint from the tub, I came across the material applied to the rockers.
Was it undercoat applied over body color, undercoat applied before body
color, or crinkle paint applied before body color? Second; Were all nose
stripes silver? There's a primrose car pictured on excite.com (click
classifieds, then search TR250 in vehicles) with a green stripe. I also
saw an episode of Hawaii Five-O that had a TR250 that yellow with a
