There is a meaty "pilot bushing" that goes in the hole in the center of the 
flywheel.  The tip of the gearbox input shaft rides in the center of the bush.  
Remember to soak it in oil for at least 24 hours before using it... or soak it 
a pan of hot motor oil on the stove for an hour or 2.
