emission controls

Hi all:
I have a 1975 TR6 which was purchased here in Canada.  Obviously it has all 
the emission devices to meet the Canadian requirements.  Has anyone had any 
success in removing all the emission components.  I have disconnected the 
air pump and the car runs fine.  I would like to remove the balance of the 
components, up to and including the plumbing feeding the intake manifold.  
Are there any tips for this, disaster stories, chuckles welcome. ANy 
comments are welcomed!!
