In addition to receiving fantastic advice from the list I also used the
information from the following web site - the article on "Starting a long

This worked well for me. After getting the carbs cleaned I took the above
mentioned advice and the 6 started right up after 6 years of sleep. Guess I
was lucky. Now I have a few more electrical problems before I can get it
inspected. Good luck.
