I do this constantly - my favorite method when driving alone. No magic to 
it, I just sort of roll up the drivers side tonneau section and tuck it 
down in between the back portion of the tonneau and the stowed top. You do 
need to make sure it is arranged such that the seat belt can move freely. 
Much nicer than dealing with putting the top up and down, and with my old 
top, just as waterproof - or not as the case might be!
