Gentlemen,
I too am interested in information about the rear seat for my
recently acquired TR3A. Unlike Chris, I dont have one at all,
so I will have to build one. I would appreciate it very much
if Carl would send me a copy of the photos you mentioned, and
if Chris would CC me any other information you recieve.
thanks,

Jim Luke

Chris - first I apologize for not getting those photos to you I promised.
Will do by weeks end.

The bracket is shaped from the floor end up:

short piece at the angle of the sloping rear deck - has one or two holes for
mounting.
bent up to form a perpendicular support approx 5" (I can get actual
measurements tonight)
bent at 90 degrees to form seat support approx 8"
bent at sloping angle to match rear deck approx 2" - I added one hole for
mounting stability
bent up to angle that corresponds with the rear panel with two holes for
attaching rear panel to support piece.
there is no attachment at the top of the support bracket.

I do have a template drawn on cardboard that I can copy and also have two
brackets made of aluminum stock that I fabricated before I found some
pressed steel ones.

Could anyone please provide me with some information regarding the fitment
of an occasional rear seat in a 1956 TR 3 . TS 10795 was acquired by me
with the occasional rear seat loose / unbolted in the back .

I found the two holes in the floor panel for the bottom brackets ( legs ) ,
but can not figure out where the two rear brackets of the seat back attaches
to . There are no holes in the rear bulkhead panel and I couldn't find any
type of bracket or similar item underneath it where I would suppose that the
brackets of the seat back must be bolted to .

Any help would be highly appreciated .
