When last we left our stuggling hero, he was waiting for JCW to special
order a way bar of the proper dimensions. Well, it didn't take JCW to call
back and leave a message that that part could not be special ordered. (no
reason given) Undaunted, our hero calls ADDCO, thanks Randall for the
number, and is swiftly routed into the answering machine of THE guy who
knows all about those things.
A week goes by and no answer, so this time an electronic incusion form the
"contact us" on the web site. But they are elusive indeed and avoid the
probe. Weeks go by. Just when all hope is waining and only $150 to $190
options are looming in the future- the phone rings. An actual, personal
phone call to my office number, where I spend 90% of my time. It's Halley
Issacs, our friendly ADDCO rep, apologizing for the delay and letting me
know that he has the right bar in stock. Of course he can't sell it to me
directly, so he gives me the number of a distributor. I call Morgan
Performance, give him a credit card number ( I am trusting), and a UPS
ground shipment later I have a Model 127 Sway Bar.
I installed it this morning and, of course, had to take it for a test drive.
Unfortunately, the speed limiter was engaged (wife was with me), so I
couldn't really try those corners, but I do believe there is a small
difference in handling, and I am glad for that because I was not all that
unhappy before. It just seems that I don't have to fight it so hard in the
turns and that's just what I was looking for.
