TR3/4 same Front Calipers ?

I found out tonight that the front brake calipers (Girling) TR3  are shot. I
have some more calipers from my TR4A parts car but they are out at my wifes
dads farm and I can't get there for a week or so.

So that I can sleep tonight, does anyone know if the calipers on the TR4A
are girling ?
If not, will what ever they are fit on the TR3 ?
Is it okay to put "X" brand front calipers on the TR3 when the rest is
Girling ?
