Casper is whole again...no more "dreaded red light" the new Regulator 
fixed the problem.
Thanks to the list, and especially to Randall Young, whose 
diagnostics were bang on target. His NAVCOMTEC address gave me great 
confidence, being an old retired Senior Chief Petty Officer myself 
(not implying that Randall is old).
