Great advice Bob.  Having gone through this a couple of times and having
experienced the good, the bad and the ugly, I will personally stick with
smaller operators who do their own work instead of subcontracting it
out;
and never, EVER deal with a transport operator that requires any sort of
payment or "deposit" in advance whatsoever.  I'm not saying that every
company requiring a deposit is disreputable.  But I AM saying that you
should consider it somewhat of a red flag.  Once they've got your money,
they've got you by the you-know-whats.
