Barry et al .

31 ( almost 32 , but still think of myself as 22 ) and driving topless
unless ...
1) it's raining ( not a lot of that in SA ) or
2) with wife as co-pilot and then only when she complains ... but it takes
me a while before I hear her complaints :-) . Luckily she usually only
complains at night during winter months . She loves driving topless ... oh
make that top down ... nope make that with the cars' soft top removed or
stowed :-) .

Still have my hair ( well most of it anyway ) , but decided to cut it short
since it was waist length and started to bother me flapping around in the
wind . Oh , the things we do for our Triumphs ...

Kind regards .

Well for what it's worth. . .and I don't know about all you guys and gals
but I'm now 46, been driving my Spitfire almost everyday since 1973 with
the top down (In fact for several of those years I didn't even have it
installed in the car), no hat (except for those cold mornings and yes it
occasionally gets cold here. This morning it was 29 so I had the jacket,
no not the white one with the funny arms, ear muffs and flannel ear flap
al-la FARGO hat, stylish I know but that's the only time I use one and it
works), no ear plugs, 30 or more miles a trip plus many longer trips
including one to Lander Wyoming and back from San Diego usually with the
radio blaring, and I still hear just as well as I did, still have my hair
(only male in my family that does hummm), and still have that silly grin on
my face after every drive - Hey, maybe the wildly fluctuating wind blowing
hair stimulates those follicles. . .Awww Just a thought. . .
