TR 4 Cyl Engine Blocks

I have 2 engine blocks for consideration to install in my 62 TR4 Racer. The
engine numbers are:

TS 25XXX E - Early TR3A?

CT 56XXX E - TR4A

Are their any significant differences in these engine blocks? Strengths or
weaknesses since this will be a competition engine.

The castings appear to have some minor differences.

Any opinions???
