My mechanic claims that my Brake Booster leaks vacuum on my 1971 TR6. The DPO purchased it from TRF five years ago. I made an inquiry to TRF, and they said that they don't sell repair kits for the unit, but would sell a new one on sale for $295 (gee, thanks). Are these units serviceable? Are repair kits available? Should I rebuild myself, or is it better to have a "shop" do the work? Do I just breakdown and buy another unit? Are there any other options? Any suggestions. corey.sherman@rcn.com /// /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// |
