Tim,
I just did mind as part of a similiar project ("scope creep" - that's
descriptive). I am replacing the main harness.
Anyway, I used Krylon semi-flat black. Looks good, looks
original to me. I had a problem with fisheye, though, even after lightly
sanding and wiping with a silicon and wax remover fluid. If that
happens to you, try using a compatible primer. That helped.
