But for a Lucas starter, you might want to call Economy Imports
and see if they're still selling rebuilt Lucas units
with a (get this) lifetime warranty ... I've got several
generators with that warranty and at least one starter
circulating through our various cars ... several times over.
They fail, but perhaps no more often than a new unit would.
