    As it turned out, the problem took care of itself.  I tightened the
knockoffs gently several times after driving the car, gradually the wheels
tightened up.  In the end I think it just took the hubs wheels and
knockoffs
time to mate up properly.
        I suggest that anyone getting new wheels etc. follow this regimen
as I
could see slight spalling where the wheels were working against the hub
after
a very short time.
