A Lotus 11 weighs about 900 pounds. Technically this is a race car, but the
factory did produce a number of street legal club racers. I know a guy in
Wisconsin who drives his 6 months out of the year. He keeps a copy of the
motor vehicle code IN THE CAR so he can explain to the police that the car
really is street legal even though it may not look it. ;{) The Coventry
Climax engine gives it some zip.
