Started on replacement of sils and floorpans on my TR4A this weekend. I
removed the left wing last night. There is very little rust on the inner
fender which is good. The splash pan is practically gone so I will need a
new one. The outer sil is pretty rough all the way up which I pretty much
suspected. I am ordering the inner and outer sils next week but I already
know that some of the parts are backordered at both Moss and TRF. Does
anybody know of someplace else I could try that would have them in stock?
I am going to attempt to replace the sils with the body on the frame to help
keep the dimensions in spec. for the door opening.
If I can get ahold of a digital camera I will update my website with
pictures.
