there is a folded soft / spring metal piece (2) that connects the two
carbs to the throttle cable linkage on my 72 gt6. it's probably the
same on tr's etc. this item broke yesterday. called around and it is
no longer available except by a person who makes them in their house for
$20 in 4 week lead time. does anyone have a work around ? had this
problem ? suggestion ??? i don't want to wait 4 weeks nor do i want to
pay $20 for a 10 cent part.
