When I took apart my TR3, on the left rear, ( I think ) between the spring
and the axle housing were two spacers, rectangular in shape with hole in them
the same width as the spring. When I put it back together, I checked the
springs and both seemed to be the same arch, lenght and stiffness. Why were
they there, and are they needed?
