Thanks to all who responded on my sticking speedo problem.
I speculated that the cause of the problem might be that the new cable I
purchased from Moss was too long. For the record, that was not the
cause, the new cable is just fine (except it's black).
My problem proved to be entirely in the unit and an adjustment to an
internal clearance seems to have resolved it. Time will tell.
