Coil polarity

Did I read, that on a TR3 with positive ground, that the + side of the 
ignition coil goes to the points,,,?,,,   Mine is to the switch, and the - is 
 to the points,,,  Will this make a big difference?
Also, any one have wiper arms for a TR3 that park on the right,, for sale?
