Well, I had the ultimate um. . . *complement*? While fueling up at the
local gas station I heard behind me a couple of ooooh's and awes and not
really paying attention to it until I heard a woman probably in her early
to mid thirties say, Is that a VIPER? She had to say it twice, cause I
really didn't think she was talking to me. Now I have had the usual is
that an MG,Porsche, or even . . yes. . a Fiat, but this was a first.
I of course smiled and said no it's better than a Viper, it's a Triumph.
An old Spitfire actually. (I can see how one could be easily confused :-})
Don't really know how she missed the "T-R-I-U-M-P-H" in five inch high gold
letters splayed across the rockers - but it gave me quite a chuckle - You
think Dodge (Chrysler) would be as amused??
