Looks are a personal thing, if they look good to you that's all that
matters. TR6s had head restraints in some markets and they looked fine.
MR2 seats will look very modern, which contrasts the TR4A's wonderfully
classic interior, making them look a touch out-of-place. One way of getting
them to look more 'in-place' may be to re-cover them in the same colour and
style of material used on the original seats.
I can't comment on whether MR2 seats are bolt ins, you may have to modify
the mounts etc...
