My experience is with MGB's and Midgets.  Other than the engine, I've never
scrutinized an MGC.  Since the MGC was a replacement for the big Healey and
the wopping great motor has a similar weight it is possible that they just
used the same wheels and axles from that car as well.

Of course the torsion bar suspension was unique.
