I recently won an auction for a set of piston rings described as 86mm for
the TR4A. When they arrived they were not as described, they are 83mm
suitable for the 2000cc engine as fitted to the TR2 and TR3. They are new
old stock in perfect condition, standard size, made in 1967 by Perfect
Circle, Indiana.
I did buy these for, what I consider, a low amount. I have the choice to
return them for a refund or sell them on to anyone wanting them.
They will cost $28 including shipping, anyone interested? I have a few days
to decide what to do.
