Depends on which "Tripod" lamp you have. Is it P700 (round emblem with LUCAS in
the middle -- bulb is ???) or PL700 (with the "shield" in the center -- "Type
A" or Lucas #417 bulb with three prongs on the bulb itself)? I don't offhand
know if either bulb can be replaced by a halogen bulb.
