Since we have been posting about some of the charges being inflicted on list
members by profit hungry vendors I want to give you my most recent experience
dealing with Holden & co, in the U/K, I ordered some parts weighing less than
4 pounds which fit into a 3" X 30" cyclinder package, Holden charged me 30 GBP
($46.00 U.S.), I went to my local P.O. they wanted $22.00, then to UPS they
wanted $24.76, then called Holden and they said that was their charge and
thats it, I have been dealing with them for 6 years, never a problem until
this. Yesterday I received another package from the U/K weighing 4 lbs. 3 oz.
their shipping charge 10GBP, me thinks Holden has lost a very good customer
and I can only advise the rest of these lists to be weary if you do have to
use them, they are not customer friendly, but they are "Got=cha" trained.
