I would vote for the area behind the #4 liner. Not because it's the farthest
from the radiator but because every TR engine I've ever had apart has a
large build up of crud and debris in that area. The #4 piston and liner
would run quite a bit hotter when cool water isn't actually circulating
around the liner...
