Replacement engines

Does anyone know what engines (more powerful) that can be swapped in a Triumph
Herald 13/60 I would like to keep her original, but I have also heard of
people putting in a 1600 Toyota Turbo engine?? sounds interesting - any ideas
where I could get info on enhancing the performance of my Herald (it's a
little Lack Lustre!)  Alun
