I have a 67 TR4-A that still has the original black wilton
wool carpet set in it. It is the same style that would be
fitted to the earlier TR6's. I can confirm that it does have
a very short but dense cut pile to it. While at TRF this
year I did notice the Magic carpet version and it seemed
to match very close. No experience on a new set and
the fade resistance. NFI just my .02c
