Yeah -- I feel a lotta love in this group.
TS 47905 L was built on Wednesday April 15, 1959 around 3:00 in the afternoon.
Assuming 90 cars per day your build date may be about April 8 or 9.
I believe April 15 was the last day for the pre-50000 TRs (bull-nose starter,
etc.). At the start of the next day they jumped the commission number to TS
50001 and implemented a few design changes.
Is your front badge 3-color (blue-white-black) rather than the more common blue
&
white? (The black is the bottom rocker). Those badges seemed to have been used
briefly around that time.
