First I must appologize to all as Senator Florez is from my area. He
actually is a pretty good Senator for a Democrat! But I digress...
I expressed my concern about SB 708 emissions law revision via his Email
contact page:

I basically stated:
"I do not believe that applying an emissions test to vehicles over 30 years
old will in any way improve air quality in California. The number of 30 +
year old vehicles registered must be miniscule. Many of them are driven as
'hobby cars' for a few hundred or thousand miles annually."
I would guess it's really hard on the political ego to recall a bill you
authored but maybe he'll get the message...
