| Subject: | bolt torques for TR4 brake calipers |

I have my calipers apart for a rebuild. The pistons had to be removed by drilling them and tapping, then screwing a big bolt through them to press them out. Anyway, what is the torque specification for 4 bolts holding the 2 halves together. I saw it on the list, but I failed to record the numbers. Now I need them! Oh, does anyone know of a source for new original-style bolts? Mine are serviceable, but not perfect. -Tony /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// Archives at http://www.team.net/archive |
