Hi, I am getting ready to fire up a new rebuild & I'm priming the oil pump with a drill. The most I can muster at about 800rpm is about 19 lbs of pressure @ the gauge. Oil has only dribbled out of the first & second rocker arm pedestal but not out of the rocker arms. I am turning the pump in a counter clockwise direction. This does not seem to be enough pressure but then the pump should turn about half the speed of the crank. Any suggestions. -- Mitch Seff Oceanside, N.Y. 75 TR6 http://www.angelfire.com/ny4/triumph5/ /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// Archives at http://www.team.net/archive |
