Hi Bill,
 I did get a copy of Classic Motorsport and I did enjoy it, a lot of good
articles - even if they aren't all British ( I have some fond memories
involving a z-car as well as British cars). I confess that I was not a
subscriber to British Motorsports so I can't make any comparisons, but if
the first issue is an indicator, I think it's a winner (although that
doesn't guarantee its success).

I have also met Gary on several occasions and can't say I detected any of
the attributes you ascribed to him.  I've always found him to be warm,
friendly, generous, and very knowledgeable. Perhaps it's the environment.
