On the way back from a recent race meeting, where the TR4 was fine all day, the
car started making a loud clicking noise from the rear

This was loud enough to hear even with earplugs in, and was audible in the
support car following behind

The noise stopped a couple of minutes later as we drove slowly off the motorway
and it stopped as suddenly as it started. It seemed to be speed-dependent and
was very loud and very mechanical in nature

I can't find anything obvious - but one rear drum is cracked right across
through two wheel bolt holes

Any suggestions as to where to look for the source of this noise? The best way
I can describe it is like the noise bubblegum cards made on the wheel spokes
when you fixed them to the front forks of your bike aged 9. Only louder...
